SUU Centrum Arena Chiller Replacement

Working together with WHW Engineering on behalf of Southern Utah University, Watson Engineering demolished and redesigned a retaining wall, creating temporary access to the chiller room where we installed a newer, larger chiller. With only six feet of access to the mechanical room, we quickly realized we would need an alternative plan to get the equipment where it needed to be. We decided to remove a section of the large retaining wall to crane the chiller into the mechanical room. Once the new chiller was in place, we replaced the retaining wall and repaired the surrounding landscaping.
