Meet the Team: Cash Christensen

Cash is the newest member of Watson Engineering Company’s young, eager in-house team of soils and field technicians. Like his coworkers, he enjoys being outside and playing in the dirt. His responsibilities include performing field testing, observations, construction material inspections, and transporting materials to the laboratory for testing and analysis. The team uses specialized equipment and technology, such as smartphones/tablets, to accurately and quickly record data and test results and promptly submit them to their specified destination.

The job posting for the soils field technician was one Cash had seen in the past. The position sparked his curiosity about what the day-to-day looked like, and after sitting down with Watson’s President Tim Watson, he knew it would be something he would love to do.

Cash particularly enjoys working with the geotechnical team and takes pride in having a small part in many Watson projects. “At Watson, we work to not only satisfy client expectations but also find satisfaction in the work we accomplish ourselves,” he shares.

 Outside of work, Cash loves spending time with his wife. He also enjoys going on rides, camping, and working on yard projects.
