Otter Creek State Park Campground Asphalt Repairs
Located in south central Utah, the area was designated Otter Creek Park in 1965. The reservoir features one of Utah’s oldest earthen dams and is considered one of the state’s best trout fisheries. Visitors to the park can enjoy fishing, birding, hiking, boating, and OHV riding.
Located at the southern end of the reservoir is a campground with over 50 sites, a pavilion and rental cabins. Some sites offer electric and water hookups for motor homes and trailers.
Working for the State of Utah Division of Facilities Construction & Management (DFCM), Watson Engineering performed comprehensive materials testing and code inspections for a three-inch asphalt replacement of the existing campground roadways. Engineers worked around existing vegetation and infrastructure to coordinate the testing and inspections.
