SUU Eccles Coliseum Stadium Football Field Survey

Watson Engineering collaborated with Great Basin Engineering and MHTN Architects to provide survey topography for the redesign and layout of the state-of-the-art football field turf system at Southern Utah University. Watson contributed survey and construction staking.

The topography control was gathered at a 10-foot grid for volumetric calculation purposes. Additional field verification during construction was performed to assist in the verification of comprehensive drainage for the turf system.

This project presented the challenge of working with multiple agencies in conjunction with the client. Watson addressed this issue with patience, experience and open, clear communication.

The Southern Utah University Football Field also presented the obstacle of multiple, highly specific guidelines which needed to be in compliance in order to meet regulation standards. Watson was able to fully comply with the specific needs of this project and was able to deliver superb workmanship and prompt attention to details.
