Browning Learning Center Exterior Rehabilitation

Watson Engineering rehabilitated the masonry exterior walls at Dixie State University, removing all damage caused by landscape water. We repaired minor foundation problems along the west exterior wall and removed and replaced the parapet cap around the entire structure. One concept was to replace the damaged brick without damaging the surrounding brick. Due to differing kiln batch colors and aging, Watson recommended the removal of the entire exterior brick. All brick was replaced, creating a more uniform building.
